On behalf of the Norwegian Refugee Council, Daniel led an eight-week investigation which exposed an alarming rise in stress levels amongst refugee children caused by the global coronavirus pandemic. As part of the assignment, Daniel produced a compelling multimedia digital report and a short video documentary which reached over half a million people and won the 2021 Grand Prix in the Health Emergencies category at the World Health Organization’s International Film Festival.
